Starting with your conversation with Adam, who explains all details, then moving onto your actual movers who are courteous, professional and hard working, this was the best decision we made! Our choice to use Two Dudes started with a piano. Everywhere we called wanted to charge us an extra $150 just for that – Ouch! When my move crew showed up, they were the epitome of professional. They were punctual, immediately extended a hand, introduced themselves, made eye contact and were personable. They listened to what I wanted and devised the best course of action. To move what I needed (all of my heavy things), it took less time than originally quoted due to great organization. And they only charged me for the time I used…nothing more. As I said, moving is stressful. But if you can find someone that is helpful that can put your mind at ease, those are the people you recommend to everyone you know….and trust me, I do. These men work HARD!

I have utilized 2 Dudes Moving a number of times when I was living in Lexington. I utilized their service when I moved to Lexington for my undergraduate degree at UK, when I moved from Lexington for my master’s degree, and then again when I moved back to Lexington for my PhD. I used their services for a local move (within Lexington circle) and just their services to unload or load my Penske truck because I was doing out-of-state moves. They have the best prices in town in comparison to other companies. They don’t try to upsell you on other products or services. Of course if you wish to have additional insurance or more people for a job, they can provide that. However, for example, I forgot to buy some cling wrap for furniture and when I called to ask how much that was, he said something like that was included. Some companies in Lexington charge so much more to use their materials. The workers they send are always on-time, respectful, and efficient. For my most recent experience in April 2020, they quoted me a 2-hour job and completed the job in one hour and 45 minutes. I highly highly highly recommend 2 Dudes Moving!

We bought a bed on ebay and it was drop shipped. It was too heavy and bulky for us to move upstairs. We checked Craigslist and saw their ad. They emailed back promptly and followed up with a phone call as well. They arrived on time and were very friendly. They moved the bed upstairs and even offered to put it together. They did an awesome job and were very careful moving this huge piece of extremely heavy furniture. I would definitely contact them again if I needed anything moved. Thanks guys!
