ALWAYS label your boxes. Trust us this will help you out in the long run when you’re trying to unpack. Also, if a box contains fragile items or heavy items it’s a good idea to note that on the box.
Keep Furniture Pieces Together
If you decide to take apart furniture items before your moving day makes sure and put the parts somewhere that is readily accessible. (We are more than happy to disassemble and reassemble your furniture for you).
Color Code Your Boxes
If you know what room in your new house you would like your individual boxes to be placed, try color-coding your boxes. A good way to color-code your boxes is to buy several different colors of duct tape and designate a color for each room then place a strip of tape on each box with the color that corresponds to the destination room.
